The Senior Vice President, Growth & Strategic Partnerships (SVP) is a senior executive leader responsible for advancing KAD Engineering’s market growth through strategic partnerships, proposal pursuits, and industry engagement. This role focuses on expanding the firm’s presence within the transportation and infrastructure sectors by building strong external relationships, supporting the pursuit strategy, and advising executive leadership on growth initiatives.

The SVP serves as a key representative of KAD Engineering to clients, agency partners, primes, and industry organizations, while working closely with internal leadership to align growth strategy with firm operations and long-term vision.

Growth Strategy & Market Development:

• Drive market-facing growth initiatives aligned with KAD Engineering’s strategic plan.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion within IDOT, municipal, and transportation markets.
• Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with agencies, prime consultants, and strategic partners.
• Represent KAD Engineering at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
   

Strategic Partnerships & Teaming:

• Lead and support teaming strategies for RFQs, RFPs, and SOIs. 
• Identify and cultivate teaming partners that align with firm capabilities and growth goals.
• Support long-term partnership development to strengthen pursuit competitiveness.
   

Proposal Strategy & Pursuit Support:

• Support proposal strategy, positioning, and competitive differentiation.
• Advise on go/no-go decisions and pursuit prioritization.
• Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer and proposal teams to align messaging and strategy 
• Provide executive-level insight during major pursuits.
   

Executive Advisory & Firm Growth Support:

• Serve as a senior advisor to the CEO on firm growth, market expansion, and strategic direction. 
• Apply prior executive or firm leadership experience to support scaling initiatives. 
• Contribute to long-term business planning and organizational growth efforts.
   

Project Oversight (As Needed):

• Provide limited project oversight or advisory support during transitional or growth periods. 
• Coordinate with operations leadership to ensure alignment between growth strategy and delivery capacity.

• Market visibility and industry engagement
• Alignment with KAD Engineering’s strategic objectives
