Job Description:
The Inspection Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by performing field inspections, documenting project progress, and verifying compliance with design plans and specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to upholding safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities (Not Limited to):
- Conduct field inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with contract specifications, design plans, and regulatory standards.
- Perform material testing, including asphalt, concrete, and soil, to verify adherence to project requirements.
- Document daily construction activities, including site conditions, work progress, and any deviations from the plans.
- Communicate findings and concerns to the Resident Engineer and project management team.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain organized records of testing results and field observations.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to address and resolve any on-site issues.
- Ensure proper implementation of environmental, safety, and traffic control measures.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in construction inspection or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and practices, including experience in field testing.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control standards, and relevant construction codes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn construction management software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to project sites.
